It uses clues imbedded in the text to rule out various theories and to identify the scroll as the Old Testament canon and shows how this relates to the doctrine of the imminently closing canon that is developed in the rest of the book of Revelation. The implications of this are huge - the Old Testament is the foundation upon which Christ's kingdom is built. Jesus takes the canon in His hands, but He does not throw away the Old Testament. He opens it, explains it, and fulfills it.
